About us
Distansehandel Norge (Norwegian Distance Sellers Association) represents the major distance selling companies in Norway.
The Association was founded in 1983 (The Norwegian Mail Order Association).
The objective of the association is to support the distance selling industry and the members of
the association in establishing a good and trusting relationship with consumers, suppliers, media, the authorities and governmental institutions. Several of the industry's leading service providers are affiliated with the organization as Business Partners
(associate members).
Distansehandel Norge has always had strict requirements for members' responsibilities to their customers. As a consequence of this, the certification Trustmark “Trygg E-handel” (Secure E-Commerce) was established in 2011.
